I love those times in life where there is no denying the goodness of God.  These are times where you can't help but see His hand on a situation.  Isaiah 61:3 says, "...to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor" (NIV).  Seeing God display his splendor on people, what could be better?  This was one of those moments in life, one of the meaningful ones that stick with you.  When Jonathan asked us to be a part of this special day we were over the moon.  We have seen our friend, Bree, go through her fair share of hard times and this was God's way of turning her life around, putting a beautiful crown on her head and displaying her in the way He sees her.  I love that!  Jonathan couldn't be more perfect for Bree, and Bree couldn't be more perfect for Jonathan.  What a beautiful gift.  This is only the beginning of their story...

Jonathan chose to propose to Bree in Battle Ground near property they hope to purchase for their future together.   He had chalk signs made of memories they had shared and placed them throughout the woods along the road to the field where the proposal would be.  As she came to the top of the hill where the trees cleared we had blocked the road with candles and were waiting for Bree with a floral crown. Your love's not fractured
It's not a troubled mind
It isn't anxious
It's not the restless kind
Your love's not passive
It's never disengaged
It's always present
It hangs on every word we say
Love keeps its promises
It keep its word
It honors what's sacred
'Cause its vows are good
Your love's not broken
It's not insecure
Your love's not selfish
Your love is pure

You don't give Your heart in pieces
You don't hide Yourself to tease us
